This is a wonderful true story of a woman's tenacity and determination over a period of eleven years in a search for her biological roots. There is a lot in "The Red Pony" which reminds me "Of Mice and Men". Colorful descriptions, often quite humorous, of flora and fauna, customs and mythology, ancient ruins and "modern" cities of late nineteenth century India. Edward Lavieri is a veteran game designer and developer with a strong academic background.
